The Media Freedom Network (MFN) is a solidarity network for freedom of expression movements in Southeast Asia.
In the digital age, journalists and media organisations simply cannot operate without digital technologies. However, they are recurrent targets of various forms of surveillance, censorship, threats, and attacks from authoritarian regimes. In Southeast Asia, digital threats constantly evolve, prompting us to explore the challenges and trends in digital security that are shaping civic space and media freedom.
How do we navigate the digital security landscape within our region? How can we identify digital security threats and mitigate its risks in our line of work?
To answer your burning questions, join our first ever MFN Digital Security Training: Navigating the Security Landscape in Southeast Asia on June 30th from 4:00 to 5:30pm MYT.
This event is supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and is by invitation only.
