New Naratif Townhall: The Citizens’ Agenda Malaysia

6 May 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Aduh! Ekonomi camne?

With the cost of living and prices of essential needs skyrocketing to an all-time high coupled with stagnant salaries, Malaysians can’t help but wonder “how do we live like this?”

New Naratif’s The Citizens’ Agenda 2022 found that economic issues took up the top 3 slots out of the top 5 issues which were most pressing according to Malaysians. With cost-of-living rising by the day and wages stagnating, Malaysians are certainly starting to feel the pinch when it comes to the economy.

While the new unity government has stated its commitment to alleviating economic hardships for average Malaysians (think Menu Rahmah), New Naratif wants to hear from YOU on what you think should be done to battle the economic hardships Malaysia now faces. How can we weather this economic storm together? What are some recommendations you would like to propose to the government?

A Brand-New Event for Malaysians!

Join us on Saturday, 6th of May from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Liberal Latte, Wisma E&C, Bukit Damansara, for the New Naratif Townhall, a brand new event where we’ll be bringing together ordinary citizens and featured guest experts to discuss the big problems which affect Malaysians.

We want to hear from you, so we’re bringing the food, drinks, and fun, and we hope you can join us for a fun lepak/discussion session!
